About TH Heavy Engineering Berhad
TH Heavy Engineering Berhad was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia in January 2005, after being actively involved in the oil and gas industry since 2002 and shipbuilding and ship repair since 2016. The main activities of TH Heavy Engineering Berhad (“THHE”) are centred around the heavy engineering industry principally in the fabrication of offshore steel structures and the provision of other related offshore oil and gas engineering services in Malaysia and internationally, as well as construction of patrol and other vessels, and its maintenance, repair & operations. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, THHE Fabricators Sdn. Bhd. (THF), THF is one of the few PETRONAS licensed major fabricators and shipbuilders in Malaysia.
Over the years, THHE has managed to secure and complete numerous major offshore facilities fabrication contracts awarded by world renowned oil and gas players such as PETRONAS Carigali, ONGC India, Shell, Talisman, Murphy, ExxonMobil, Newfield and Woodside. In shipbuilding and ship repair, THHE’s maiden project was with the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (“MMEA”).
OIL AND GAS
THHE specialises in fabrication of major offshore steel structures like jackets, substructures and topsides, well head platforms, central processing platforms, compression platforms, modules, decks, living quarters, process skids, modular compression skids, booms, inter-platform bridges and other related engineering packages.
Backed by a string of successfully delivered projects under its credentials, THF has repositioned itself as an integrated EPCIC contractor that provides a comprehensive list of services based on these principal activities:
- Fabrication, construction and maintenance of offshore structures
- Construction and maintenance of onshore plants
- Offshore and onshore crane manufacturing and servicing
- Marine operations and support services
- Hook-up & commissioning (HUC)

SHIPBUILDING AND SHIP REPAIR
THHE is currently involved in the construction of Offshore Patrol Vessels for MMEA and have geared up and certified for the construction of other vessels such as;
- Naval vessels such as Littoral Mission Ship, Corvettes, Fast Interceptor Crafts and others
- Other security enforcement vessels such as Transport Vessels, Multi Purpose Mission Ship and others
- Offshore support vessels such as Anchor Handling Tug Services, Fast Crew Boat and others.
- Fishing and other ships and boats.
