TH Heavy Engineering Berhad (“THHE”) (formerly known as Ramunia Holdings Berhad) was incorporated on 18 November 2003 and primarily participated in the oil & gas industry.
From 2007 onwards, Tabung Haji (“TH”) had begun acquiring shares in the company to be involved in the oil & gas industry and changed the company’s name to TH Heavy Engineering Berhad.
In 2017, THHE diversified into shipbuilding and ship repair as a result of the oil crisis in 2014.
On 28 December 2018, TH’s entire stake in THHE was acquired by Urusharta Jamaah Sdn Bhd (“UJSB”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ministry of Finance incorporated, an entity under the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia.
THHE’s headquarters is located at MOF Inc. Tower, Persiaran KLCC, Kuala Lumpur and it’s ship and fabrication yard is at Pulau Indah Industrial Park, Selangor.
THHE’s facilities have been designed & realigned to accommodate both oil & gas and shipbuilding activities.
